With a background in teaching and advertising, and almost 20 years in the real estate industry serving clients, mentoring agents, building a 300+ agent brokerage, flipping and building homes with her contractor husband, and then coming back to where it all started…the clients. She has come full circle and brings her background in organizational development and people management, systems operations, and agency creativity to the table for the team. She works hard and strives to do right by her clients and community on a daily basis. Professionally Amy has been awarded D Magazine Best Realtor, D Magazine Top Producer, Advocate Top 25 Agents, and Texas Monthly Five Star Award. She was a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in Advertising and Studio Art.

Amy is also dedicated to giving back to the Dallas community.  She was the 2011 recipient of the coveted Ebby Halliday community service award for raising over $600,000 for Dallas community nonprofits through chairing the 2010 and 2011 Chi Omega Christmas Markets.  She was also recognized in the Dallas Business Journal as an American Cancer Society Corporate Hero Circle recipient.  She gives back to the real estate industry and has served as the Community Outreach Chair for the YPN Committee at MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, the Marketing and Publicity Committee Chair for the MetroTex Leadership Academy, the Leadership Academy Alumni Chair, previously served on the Selection Committee for the MetroTex Leadership Academy, was voted by peers to be on the Board Nominating Committee and has served in an elected role for MetroTex on the GMMLS.  In Lake Highlands, Amy is involved on the Northlake PTA board in various roles and is one of the founders and former President of 100 Women of Lake Highlands. She has served as the board member for the Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League, on the board for the Lake Highlands Women’s League, and is the Fundraising Chair for the Lake Highlands Women’s League. She is the mother of a son and daughter, married to Brent Timmerman, SVP of Construction for Standpoint Construction, and as a child of the 80s, has turned back time and found her tennis game again and enjoys sneaking away to Dallas Athletic Club for a quick tennis match.
